Welcome to Guyot Brothers Irregular E-letter
It looks like vintage is in again; new is old in new ways, and vintage style jewelry comes from real vintage style findings.
Originally made two generations ago (this would have been our grandfather or one of his brothers) for the Jaeckel Manufacturing Company of Providence, shown here is a series of outstanding ornament/filigree items, which according to our archives, were originally tooled in the early to mid-1930's. Little information, aside from a reference to Jaeckel dated 1929, and a listing in a jewelry makers tag website, were found when we researched the history of this series of findings.
Imagine the beautiful jewelry which can be made from these intricate pieces, which are still in production in the Guyot line. The variety of pieces allows for a jewelry ensemble to be designed based on one style of findings, or if the designer prefers, to pick and choose one or two for a centerpiece design.
